The new computers will be available in two color options, graphite and platinum. They are made of aluminum and have “invisible” touchpads in Gorilla Glass 3 with haptic feedback. All models have a 1080p webcam. Intel’s Ultra processors, which all of the new XPS computers are equipped with, also have built-in AI acceleration.

At launch, the XPS 16 can now be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor at 5.0 GHz, but they will later also be able to choose instead to have an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor at 5.1 GHz in the computer. You can choose between 16, 32, or 64 GB of internal memory, but you can only take the 64 GB option if you also equip the computer with the strongest graphics card. For storage, you can choose from ssd memories in several sizes between 512 GB and 4 TB.

The worst among the graphics cards that required 64 GB of internal memory is the laptop version of the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 at 8 GB. Other graphics options you have for the XPS 16 are the laptop versions of the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4060 and Nvidia Geforce RTX 4050, at 8 and 6 GB respectively, or Intel’s built-in Arc graphics card. There are two screen options to choose from for the XPS 16, a regular screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, or a 4k touchscreen with a resolution of 3840 x 2400 pixels.

For the XPS 14, you can also choose up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor at 5.0 GHz, the 14-incher will not get a faster option later. Memory and storage options are the same as the XPS 16, the only difference being that a different graphics card is required for the 64GB memory.

As far as graphics cards are concerned, you can choose between two for the XPS 14. Intel’s built-in Arc graphics, or the laptop version of the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4050 at 6 GB, which is the requirement for 64 GB of internal memory. Even the XPS 14 has two screen options, a regular screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, or a touch screen with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels.

Both the XPS 14 and XPS 16 have three Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD reader, a 3.5mm audio port, and a usb-c to usb-a and hdmi 2.0 adapter. The built-in battery in the XPS 14 is 69.5 Wh, the one in the XPS 16 is 99.5 Wh.

The new version of the smallest XPS 13 can also be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor at 5.0 GHz. The storage and memory options are the same as for the XPS 14 and XPS 16. However, no special graphics card is required here for 64GB of memory, as there is only one graphics option for the XPS 13, it can only be equipped with Intel’s built-in Arc graphics card.

The XPS 13, on the other hand, has the most options when it comes to screens. You can choose between a standard screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, or between two touch screens. Either one with a resolution of 2560 x 1600, or an OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels.

As for outputs, the XPS 13 only has two Thunderbolt 4 ports. The battery life of the built-in battery is 55 Wh.
