As informed earlier this Thursday afternoon, Igor Julião no longer plays for the Fluminense. He made a transfer to Portuguese football. The GE website revealed that the right-back’s destination is Vizela, recently promoted to the elite of the national championship.
Julião, 26, amicably agreed his release with the board and will sign this Friday his contract termination, which would end in December.
Vizela was the vice-champion of the Portuguese Segundona and rose to the First Division after 36 years. Prestigious, coach Álvaro Pacheco renewed his contract until June 2023 and asked for reinforcements to add to the squad: a winger, a defender and a full-back, who will be Igor Julião.
