OUTPOST – Three deer caused an accident on Monday morning on the Bruggelaan (N358) near Buitenpost. A driver of a van with a trailer braked because the deer would cross the road.
A motorist behind the van saw this too late and collided with the trailer. The car was badly damaged. Both drivers were not injured. Traffic was temporarily controlled by the police.
The car and the trailer were taken away by salvage company Boersma. The driver of the van was able to do without a trailer with continuation.
