At the beginning of this week, the young singer Sabīne Mustermane announced herself with her debut single “Mākoņi”, and along with it, she also released a video that invites you to remember your childhood.
The song “Mākoņi” was written as part of the “Zvaigznāja class”, when Sabīne Mustermanei learned music production and songwriting through self-learning. The final version of the song was created in collaboration with Agnes Rakovska and producer Gothards Āriņa.
“The first sketches of the song were made in my home, experimenting with the production application – trying to add different effects to the song. I always knew that I wanted to do more, so I came to “Zvaigznāj”, which gave me the opportunity to develop the necessary knowledge of songwriting and production. The message of the song is about self-understanding and the ability to be alone in order to escape from your everyday life and environment,” says Sabīne.
Sabine is one of the winners of the “Ondo.lv Star” competition. The video was made with the help of a scholarship obtained in the competition. Has participated in several pianist competitions – both in Latvia and Europe. On a daily basis, Sabine creates audiovisual content on the social network “TikTok”.
A video was also made for the song “Mākoņi”. Sabine says: “This was my first time filming a video, so I didn’t set expectations about what the result would be. In the video, you can see my favorite childhood places in Bauska, where I spent time with my friends and family, building tents and walking on my favorite meadows. The result surprised me and the message is very personal.” It should be noted that the visual image of Sabīne was created in collaboration with the students of the Latvian Academy of Arts, Madara Indrikson and Milena Emīlija Seržanti.
