The return of Deadpool with his third film, which is the first under the wing of Marvel Studios, continues to add news, now the presence of two has been confirmed X-Men.
When Disney acquired the rights to Fox, the company gained access to Marvel characters not yet under its belt, such as the X-Men and the mercenary with a mouth, Deadpool. Some time later it was learned, through the mouth of Ryan Reynolds himself, that Marvel Studios and he were preparing the return of the character.
The news got better as time went by, especially when it was confirmed that Hugh Jackman would play again Wolverine. The last time she played the character with the claws and adamantium skeleton was in the acclaimed Logan (2017). This certainly got attention, as the character died. Jackman and Reynolds explained that Wolverine’s presence will be made possible by Cable’s (Josh Brolin) time displacement apparatus.
While waiting for filming to begin, two new signings are confirmed. According to Deadline, actresses Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuma have reached an agreement to join Deadpool 3, reprising their roles from the previous films, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio, respectively.
Both join a cast that includes fellow Deadpool veterans Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic and Rob Delaney, who respectively play Deadpool’s fellow cab driver Dopinder, his roommate and vice, Blind Al, his fiancee Vanessa and the Russian mutant, Colossus.
It should not be forgotten that Deadpool 3 will have the debut of two new faces for the MCU, Matthew Macfadyen (Succession, Pride and Prejudice) and Emma Corrin (The Crown), and the latter will apparently be one of the villains of the story. Taking into account that the film will deal with time travel, it is said that two faces of the TVA will participate, Miss Munites (Tara Strong) and Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson).
Filming on Deadpool 3, working as Tidal Wave, is expected to begin later this month.
