NEW YORK — A 27-year-old man has died after being shot at a pharmacy in the Bronx on Thursday afternoon, police have confirmed, though there are few details about the circumstances.
A call was made from the Amazing Pharmacy on East Tremont Avenue around 2 pm, the victim was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to the preliminary investigation, four suspects fled the scene on foot. Three were last seen wearing white shorts and black shirts. One was wearing orange shorts and a Yankees cap, police said. The investigation is still in its early stages, although authorities do not believe the victim worked at the pharmacy. No possible reason was shared.
