Deadline to register on the Virtual Police Station permit site is extended until Monday, August 17

“The team of the Virtual Police Station of the Chilean Police maintains a permanent monitoring of the statistical data of the platform and, due to the large number of people who have not yet registered, it has been deemed appropriate to extend the new form of identity authentication to carry out your individual temporary permits, ”the Carabineros reported this Sunday.

The site was generated to process authorizations to transit during the circulation restrictions established by the coronavirus pandemic. A few days ago it was arranged that the permits will be delivered by using the Unique Key or by creating a local user account.

Carabineros clarified that During this week the three types of entry to travel permits will be maintained, these are; Identity card number (which will appear as “visit entry”), unique password or local registration.

“The process of creating a local account at the Virtual Police Station takes 2 minutes and requires only providing basic information provided in your identity card,” they highlighted.

Similarly, they explained “this week will be an extension so that all those people who do not have a Unique Password, can register on our platform and create their own password for the procedures in the Virtual Police Station, reiterating that From Monday August 17 and in an urgent manner, you will only be able to enter with a Unique Password or your local registration key provided by the Virtual Police Station ”.
