Jeddah- The traffic department has informed that the useless and old vehicles in its own name should be removed from the records. The traffic department also said that such vehicles should be transferred from their own name through Abshir platform before 1st of next month (March). Avail the facility during this period and there will be no financial liability.

This process should be initiated online. There is a separate window for this in Abshir. Meanwhile, the vehicle and number plates should be handed over directly at the authorized center. Once the documents and vehicle are handed over, the OTP will appear on the mobile confirming receipt. The traffic department also informed that it should be handed over to the Centre.
