This concerns Shima Kaes, who had a love affair with De Mol six years ago. An unauthorized biography about the life of the De Mol family to be published soon describes intimate details about the relationship with Johnny.

On behalf of Kaes, two legal advisers Johnny de Mol, his father John and mother Willeke Alberti informed a bailiff last month that they are proposing a ‘settlement’ about ‘demonstrable evidence’ about the actions of Johnny de Mol. According to the De Mol family in the letter, they give the impression that Johnny will be damaged in the publicity if the family does not pay.

The De Mol family feels threatened by the letter and has lawyer Peter Plasman officially report this to the Public Prosecution Service on Monday. “This is a transparent and rancid attempt to rip off money from the De Mol family,” Plasman told De Telegraaf when asked.
