“De Bruyne and Haaland Duo Bullies Arsenal in Manchester City’s Dominant Victory”

Manchester

Manchester City’s dominant victory over Arsenal cannot be separated from phenomenal performances Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland. The connection between the two was successful in bullying the opponent.

Manchester City appeared to be in control and dominant when they hosted Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium, Thursday (27/4/2023) in the morning WIB. Citizens won 4-1 in the Premier League continued match.

Kevin de Bruyne scored twice, with John Stones and Erling Haaland scoring the other two. Arsenal only had time to reply once through Rob Holding to change the score to 1-3 at the end of the match.

Man City is not only more dangerous every time he has the ball, but has succeeded in reducing potential threats from his opponent. Arsenal only recorded two opportunities on target, compared to Man City’s nine.

Legendary Premier League striker Alan Shearer thinks the De Bruyne-Haaland duo have succeeded in tearing apart Arsenal’s defense. The connection and movement of the two could not be handled by Mikel Arteta’s troops.

“They were unmanageable tonight, they bullied two centre-backs, Gabriel and Rob Holding,” said Shearer after the game in BBC.

“Every time the ball went up their understanding of when, how and where to run and then finish those chances was great. They were never too far from each other, De Bruyne was always within five, 10 yards of Haaland.”

“It was an extraordinary performance from start to finish from Man City, they completely dominated every position. Some schemes tonight were absolutely extraordinary,” added the former Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United player.
