During the wedding of Nikkie de Jager (Nikie Tutorials) and Dylan there was a performance by Davina Michelle. She had made a cover of ‘Always remember us like this’ by Lady Gaga especially for the couple in love with her. The video was also posted on Instagram. “Even Nikkie reacted herself: ‘Gaga, you have to see this,’ says Davina. In turn, Gaga replied: “It’s beautiful treasure.”
“Very bizarre,” says Davina. And one thing leads to another. Because later superstar Jennifer Lopez also followed her on Instagram. “That is obviously the beauty of social media. The world gets so small at some point. I really thought, ‘What the fuck. How did it happen?’ It’s really great on social media that you can connect like this.”
