The Argentine Television Union (Satsaid) agreed to a new salary increase, for open channel workers and production companies, which will reach a 41.5 percent per year plus the payment of a fixed sum of 25 thousand pesos.
The Satsaid agreed this week on close of the joint venture 2020-2021 –With the business chambers ATA and CAPIT– with the definition of an increase in two tranches for the extended period between April and September of this year.
Through a statement sent to GUILD SITE, The union reported that the agreement includes an increase in 30 percent from last April, that absorbs 12 percent of the previous stage; and a 41.5 percent applied from next July, which will absorb the 30 percent implemented in April.
In addition, the Television Union obtained the payment of “An Extraordinary Non-remunerative Allowance, non-subsidized and one-time” of 25 thousand pesos for all workers included in the negotiation.
This Extraordinary Allowance will be paid in two installments: 15 thousand pesos before June 10, 2021 and 10 thousand pesos together with the assets for the month of July 2021.
In the framework of the negotiation, the parties also agreed to meet at the first week of September 2021 “to start the discussion of the joint 2021/2022, to be in force as of October 2021 ”.
