A spokesman for Roth confirmed this, as the music magazine “Rolling Stone” reported on Saturday. The last concert he will give on January 8th in the “House of Blues” in Las Vegas.
Roth also went into the death of Eddie Van Halen in the interview. The guitar legend died of cancer last October at the age of 65. He is dealing with how short life is, said the rocker.

Roth became famous in the 1970s as the frontman of the band Van Halen around the brothers Eddie and Alex. Songs like “Jump”, “Runnin ‘with the Devil” and “You Really Got Me” became international hits. Roth split from the band in 1985, started a solo career, but returned to Van Halen in 2007.
