David di Donatello 2022, looks and the red carpet: dominates the black and the little imagination

Better black. She is never wrong. And then on TV the black fades. All the guests, candidates and winners of the evening must have made this reflection David di Donatello awards which took place last night in Cinecitt and was broadcast live on Raiuno. So it happened, but not a novelty for the Italian red carpets, that black was the dominant color of the evening: black for women’s dresses, black for men’s tuxedos (even there, if desired, you could make some slight variations). And in a predominantly male audience, especially in the front rows, those of the authorities, the effect was amplified. The only strong note of color was given to us by Drusilla Foer with her hyper-voluminous fiery red dress. That’s good. Even if the Tuscan performer did not appear crackling as usual. Even the youngest winners have chosen neutral tones.
