David Brown Automotive, famous for its Mini interpretations, is now bringing a purely electric variant.

If your name is David Brown, you almost inevitably have to deal with Aston Martin. David Patrick Brown founded David Brown Automotive in 2014 – and brought the Speedback GT onto the market in 2014, an in-house design on a Jaguar XK platform that was its own interpretation of a modern Aston Martin. By the way, this vehicle is still being built and sold.

But David Brown Automotive is more successful with its Mini ReMastered – used Minis are completely rebuilt, given modern technology and a lot of luxury (and sometimes plenty of horsepower). These “new” Minis cost a lot of money, even six figures – and sell really well; various special editions have long since become collector’s items.
And yes, you can expect it to be really expensive – DBA
Now the British mini specialists are going one step further, doing the same thing with the old minis, but converting them into pure electric vehicles. There is a small battery (18.8 kWh), a range of around 180 kilometers, 97 hp and 175 Nm maximum torque. No prices are communicated, but the pleasure is unlikely to be cheap.
