Much has been written about the family of David Beckham (48) after the Netflix series “Beckham” premiered on the streaming service just over a month ago.
In the series, you get an inside look at the extremely popular family – who openly share both ups and downs and attention, but also the back of the glittering medal. Among other things, Beckham addresses how adultery accusations against him affected the family – and about the support from celebrity friends over the years.

David speaks warmly of the friendship he and his wife Victoria (49) have had with actor Tom Cruise (61), but jumps over the relationship with Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42).
Although they were so close that “The Beckhams” were self-described guests at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess.

He does not comment on why he has chosen to distance himself from the prince, but that the friendship between the gentlemen will now be completely over – there is little doubt about that, writes, among other things Daily Mail.

According to the British newspaper, the football legend has agreed to attend a dinner with King Charles (74) – and many consider this a clear sign that the former friendship has now come to an end.
Must tell “everything”
Beckham will not only have dinner with the British monarch, but also talk about the possibility of him becoming an ambassador for “The Prince’s Foundation”, a charity founded by the king.
The football icon has previously held a similar role as a representative of the Invictus Games, a multi-sport competition for sick and injured military personnel, founded by Prince Harry in 2014.

“Absolutely furious”
However, a lot has happened since then. Beckham is said to have distanced himself from Prince Harry after he and his wife Meghan moved to the United States and stepped down as royals in 2020.

Rumor has it that the relationship between the parties cooled after Duchess Meghan allegedly accused the Beckham couple of leaking private stories about her to the press.

The Daily Mail reported that the accusation left David “absolutely furious,” and they have apparently not been on speaking terms since.
