Dave Roelvink said he received “a few fuckers” from the Mobile Unit (ME) on Sunday during the illegal demonstration on the Museumplein in Amsterdam. The 26-year-old media personality was on hand to report for his Instagram followers, he says Show news.
“I was looking out the window, I live around the corner, and I saw it happen. Let’s see what is going on,” said Roelvink. “Of course the work has come to a complete standstill, so I take that Insta Live every now and then. Then I go and film things on Instagram and comment on it.”
The son of Dries Roelvink describes how he walked “in the middle of a war zone”. “I thought: I’m going to film from the park, through the bars. Only, I had not seen for a moment that I was standing in the middle of a group of police officers. So I also got hit in the mouth. But we’re still alive.”
After he again felt a few heavy blows in the back, Roelvink had enough, he told his followers on Instagram. “I’m gonna get a few fucking punches on my back. With a bat! Oh, oh, oh .. what a mess, gap.”
Roelvink says that he went unprepared to the illegal demonstration. Wanting to quickly check the situation, he left his house in his slippers. This made it more difficult for him to run away from the Mobile Unit. “So I was not well prepared to report,” says the reality star Show news.
Despite the fact that the municipality of Amsterdam had banned the demonstration on Sunday, approximately two thousand demonstrators came to Museumplein. After calls to leave were not answered, the riot police were deployed. There were 143 people arrested.
