Sky has revealed the release date for the fourth and likely final season of Das Boot. From September 23, 2023, fans can experience double episodes of the six new episodes on Sky One every Saturday from 8:15 p.m. The entire season will also be available via Sky Q and the WOW streaming service.
Two intense storylines converge in it: the seething Mediterranean, where the brutal submarine war comes to a head, and gloomy Berlin, which is characterized by intrigue and secrets. Resistance to the Nazi regime grew in the Navy. Klaus (Rick Okon) returns to the German Reich from Portugal to travel to Naples on a secret mission and influence the course of the war as a submarine commander. His sister Hannie (Rosalie Thomass), on the other hand, has made it her mission to help the many orphans who have fallen victim to the war. During her engagement she uncovers dark secrets of the Nazi Reich.
The newly released trailer already gives a foretaste of the upcoming episodes, with which the story will most likely end. Sky does not want to produce any more Sky Originals series in the future, which is why a sequel only seems possible with another provider.
