Darmstadt – Currently there is a bigger one Police operation in the district Darmstadt-Kranichstein. A police helicopter is also in use. Three men were injured in a shootout near the train station.

At around 5.15 p.m., witnesses alarmed the police and reported a clash between several people and shooting noises in the area of Parkstrasse. The road leads from the Kranichstein train station in the direction of the road leading to the Kranichstein hunting lodge.

So far, three men with gunshot wounds had been brought to hospitals by informed ambulances. The search and investigation work, especially with regard to the hitherto unknown perpetrators, is currently in full swing.
