Dante Lennon Pleads Guilty to Double Drunk Driving Crash Killing Three Women Leaving ‘Sweet 16’ Party in Long Island (NY) – Latest Updates

Dante Lennon, 23, pleaded guilty to the double crash that caused the death of three female relatives who were leaving a “Sweet 16” party in Long Island (NY) in 2022.

Lennon was driving a Mercedes Benz around 70 mph while drunk on Jericho Turnpike around 11 pm on May 21, 2022. According to the District Attorney of the Nassau CountyAnne T. Donnelly, the young man crashed into a Lincoln pickup truck and another parked car. The impact caused the death of Marlene Luu (66), Hoa Ho (68) and Tu Nguyen (41).

Lennon pleaded guilty to the following charges: aggravated vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter, assault and driving while intoxicated. Following the plea agreement, he is expected to serve between 6 and 18 years in prison.
