Danone: the shareholders’ plebiscite for the status of a company with a mission

Clear and massive support. Danone shareholders voted 99.4% in favor of changing the status of the group, which will therefore become a mission-oriented company. This is the first time that a listed group has sought the opinion of its shareholders on this point and had the adoption of the status of mission-oriented company in a general meeting.

This status will allow it to fully merge actions protecting the planet or of a social nature in its economic activity. For large shareholder funds, these are now development levers.
