Danny Vera plays twice in the Ziggo Dome in November under the name Vera’s Nightclub. They are the only gigs he still gives this year.
The singer would actually perform in AFAS Live at the end of this month, but that show has been canceled due to the corona virus.
Round tables are placed in the Ziggo Dome where the public can take a seat. “After all the calamity of last year, I wanted to bring something personal,” says the 43-year-old singer, who performs with a fourteen-piece band.
“A nightclub setting with a round stage, surrounded by an audience at tables is exactly what I feel. Forgetting all worries about putting on an unprecedented special show together.”
The concerts, in which Vera include songs from his new EP The New Black and White Pt. IV – Home Recordings will take place on 14 and 15 November. Ticket sales start on Friday.
