Will Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck be able to prove that reuniting with their ex-partner can be a good idea. They seem to be on the right track to do so after a number of Western media outlets spread the news that the two were engaged – for the second time in so many years.
But unlike the first time in 2002, when it became clear after months of paparazzi-led meetings, Lopez has now announced the news herself.
In her newsletter OntheJLo, the star shared a video of herself wearing an engagement ring. Meanwhile, she announced the “Big News” on Instagram earlier Friday, and currently has emoji with a diamond ring as part of her Twitter handle.
Subsequently, her sister also confirmed the information through her Instagram account, and the singer’s spokesman also confirmed it to People magazine and the Hollywood Reporter.
Lopez and Affleck were among the biggest celebrity couples at the turn of the century, even getting engaged in 2002. During that time, the two made two films together – the romantic comedy “Difficult Dump”, received very poorly by both audiences and critics. and “Jersey Girl” from 2004.
By the time the second indie drama, directed by Kevin Smith, hit theaters in March 2004, the couple had already announced the end of their relationship. Despite their long and adored relationship with the tabloids, the two never got married.
After the relationship, the two entered into another marriage – Lopez married singer Mark Anthony, with whom they have three children, while Ben Affleck reunited with his stage partner from “Dardeville” Jennifer Garner, with whom he has three children. However, divorces have befallen both of them.

In his professional life, Affleck won an Oscar as a producer for his film Argo, and Lopez made a fortune playing as a judge on the American Idol show, along with accompanying tours, music recordings and film appearances.
A year ago, however, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunited. The Latino star celebrated his 52nd birthday by posting a series of photos on his Instagram account, which confirmed rumors that he and Affleck are back together.
Their reunion is undoubtedly remarkable, after 20 years since their first relationship. The difference now, however, is that they do not have the same level of aggressive interest on the part of the paparazzi.
In the last year, the two have made several public appearances together, including walking the red carpet at the premiere of Affleck’s film The Tender Bar, and in February at the premiere of Lopez’s film Marry Me.

In an interview in December, the famous presenter Howard Stern asked Affleck if he was hesitant about reviving his romantic relationship with Lopez after their previous separation.
“It has crossed my mind, for sure. My responsibility to my children is the highest. I do not want to do anything that would be painful or destructive for them,” he said.
Apparently, however, all doubts have fallen and he has put a ring on Jennifer Lopez’s finger. All that remains now is for them to reach the altar.
