Danish scandal flu fled the country after “hate”

Despite her young age, Danish Fie Laursen (26) has been known for years in Denmark, but has also made a name for herself in Norway.

In her home country, she appeared as a bullying victim on TV as a 15-year-old. Since then, she has blogged, published books, participated in reality series, and has become a controversial profile for advertising plastic surgery.

In social media such as TikTok, Instagram and Youtube, she has a total following of 610,000.

Norwegian OnlyFans

In 2020, the Dane moved to Marbella and started posting pornographic content on OnlyFans.

That same year, she received criticism for advertising the service on Instagram, and for encouraging her then 300,000 followers to try out sugar dating, according to Extra Magazine.

Norwegian OnlyFans profiles have also settled in the Spanish city:

Good evening Norway contacted Laursen when she recently announced that she would close the OnlyFans account, due to “personal reasons”. Then she claimed that half of her followers consist of Norwegian women and men.

This week, however, she confirmed to Danes See and listen that the closure was a lie, and at the same time acknowledges that the number of subscribers increased after the stunt.

Flee the country

The Dane, who for a period lived in Norway, says herself that she chose to move abroad because of “hatred” from her compatriots, but believes that Norwegians are extra hard.

Laursen told about a number of operations for Good evening Norway in 2020:

– When I had my plastic surgery, I fell into the clutches of the Norwegians. I received so many death threats and hate messages that I lay in the hotel in Oslo and just cried, she says.

The influencer is referring to when she talked about having a Brazilian butt lift – an operation that is among the most dangerous plastic surgeries.

In this connection, the Norwegian Consumer Protection Authority and a number of Norwegian influencers condemned Laursen for having advertised a competition where followers could win an optional operation.

The Dane says she experienced being stared at when she walked the streets of Oslo, and says that a group of young girls stood and laughed while they pointed at her.

– I felt completely bullied, she tells Good evening Norway.

But one thing about Norwegians surprises the 26-year-old.

– Oddly enough, they are really supportive when it comes to OnlyFans. All my Norwegian followers on Instagram give me great support regarding the sex work, maybe there is more tolerance for it in Norway than Denmark, she wonders.

Supporting Sophie Elise

Last week, Laursen also went on Instagram to share an unreserved statement of support for Sofie Elise Steen Isachsen (28), in connection with the storm that arose after the controversial Instagram photo, which was published and deleted on 12 February.

On Thursday, March 2, Isachsen announced to his 600,000 followers that the podcast collaboration with the state channel had ended.

To Good evening Norway, Laursen expresses great respect for the 28-year-old, and says that she was constantly compared to her when she spent time in Oslo.

– Everyone said “you are the Danish Sophie Elise”. I didn’t quite understand what they meant then, but after I got to know her better, I think people thought that we have both been through a lot, and are our country’s biggest influencers when it comes to both hate and love, says Fie Laursen.

When the youth channel of Denmark’s public broadcasting company made the documentary series “Fie” in 2021, it did not go unnoticed. DR3 followed Laursen’s everyday life, which included selling scantily clad photos.

This prompted the Center for digital pedagogy to go out against the influencer and the channel. Special consultant Christian Mogensen believed that the documentary should never have been made. He thought it worked as an OnlyFans advertisement and accused DR3 of “milking the Fie Laursen phenomenon”.

DR3 responded to the criticism that it was relevant for the young target group to see the back of digital life, and that the channel should not be instructive, but mirror what is going on among young people and be open to reflection.

Good evening Norway has asked Laursen if she has a comment on the criticism of the documentary, but she has not yet answered the inquiry.

Laursen, on the other hand, has elaborated on why she wanted to send a statement of support to her Norwegian colleague:

– I recognize myself in Sophie and understand her, says the Dane to Good evening Norway, and adds:

– I believe that everyone makes mistakes. Instead of focusing on the bag, you should think about, why is it there? Whether it is hers or someone else’s is not people’s problem, but hers.

The Dane repeats that the “hate” she received from Norwegians after the promotion of plastic surgery was something she had never experienced before.

– That’s why I feel for Sophie at this time, she asserts.
