BVThe Netflix film ‘Noise’ is proudly presented in the cinema Lumière in Mechelen. A psychological thriller in which Ward Kerremans (35) – known from ‘Billie vs. Benjamin’ and ‘Grond’ – his first major film role. Many befriended BV’s come to cheer him and the other cast members on. And Ward’s girlfriend Danira Boukhriss Terkessidis (32) is also present. Until now, the couple preferred to stay out of the spotlight, but they now decide differently: “I stand here as a proud friend,” says Danira.

Ward Kerremans, the native from Mechelen who spent his student days together with co-star Sallie Harmsen in Maastricht, says he will play a “home game” tonight during the premiere of ‘Noise’ in Mechelen. “We have been looking forward to it for a year and are very happy that the film can now finally be released to the wide world,” say Ward and his Dutch co-leader Sallie Harmsen. “I certainly gave everything and we had a great time working together. So I hope you see that too,” said Ward. He concludes: “But actually… Whether it’s a big movie, a theater show or a series, it doesn’t really matter to me. I take everything seriously and it is mainly about the content.”
In addition to the strong Dutch-Flemish cast, there are of course also a lot of family and friends ready to see the end result of ‘Noise’. So is Ward’s girlfriend Danira Boukhriss Terkessidis. Together with ‘Grond’ actor and good friend of Ward, Yassine Ouaich, she takes to the red carpet. Soon Ward – busy with interviews – joins the duo. Joking and growling, they beam for the camera. First with three, then Danira and Ward alone. “Because yes”, Ward said earlier, “it happens very organically that we do not flaunt our private life. But we don’t hide from each other. She will also be there tonight and will also present the Q&A after the film tonight. So hopefully it will be a nice evening.”

Ward Kerremans and his opponent Sallie Harmsen. The two play a couple in ‘Noise’ and have been friends in real life since their college days. “We went to a small school in Maastricht together.”
Lize Feryn and her partner Aster Nzeyimana. Lize plays a modest role in the film and can’t wait to watch ‘Noise’. “I haven’t seen the movie myself yet,” she says.
Louis Talpe is there to cheer on his good friends Ward and Sallie. He also has a good relationship with the writer of the film, Robin. “Ward and I starred in the movie ‘The Racer’ together. I have also worked with Sallie for a Dutch production. I am now very curious about their work.”
Jennifer Heylen was also present to view ‘Noise’. The cheerful actress chatted with various actors and was happy to be there.
