This week, a group of journalists was given the opportunity to view scans of documents related to Daniel Obajtek’s finances. Some of them have been undisclosed so far. It includes property declarations, notarial deeds and loan agreements from the last 20 years. It was a response to media publications that appeared in recent weeks on the source of the president’s assets PKN Orlen.

As reported by money.pl, the documents presented by attorney Maciej Zaborowski also include two contracts for the purchase of a plot of over one hectare for PLN 250,000. PLN in the town of Antonowo in Masuria, near Giżycko. The first is the conditional agreement of September 28, and the second is the ownership transfer agreement of November 3, 2020.

The documents also contained information on neighboring plots included in the easement mortgage. They include data on the transfer of ownership nieruchomo¶ci for Profbud, the developer from whom Daniel Obajtek bought an apartment in the Bemowo district of Warsaw I appreciate much lower than the market price.

“Mr. Daniel Obajtek already owned real estate in this area and the purchase of a plot in Antonowo was another transaction in this area. It was a decision for which there were only objective reasons” – said Mr. Zaborowski in response to questions from WP and money.pl about how does the president of PKN Orlen became interested in a plot in Antonowo and whether it was influenced by the fact that the neighboring plot belongs to Profbud.

In mid-March, “Gazeta Wyborcza” announced that in 2018 Daniel Obajtek and his partner bought an 187-meter apartment for PLN 1.3 million, or PLN 6,000 900 per square meter. According to the price list, the flat should cost PLN 2.2 million, i.e. PLN 12,499 per square meter. An apartment in Warsaw’s Bemowo was built by Profbud. You can read more about this in THIS PLACE.
