Daniël Lippens will soon be leaving Radio 538. The radio DJ can be heard again from January 4 on SLAM !, where he was already working until 2014. That makes SLAM! will be known on Wednesday own website.
Lippens can currently be heard in the early morning and on Saturday afternoon on 538, but is exchanging that place for an evening show together with Erik-Jan Rosendahl. The couple thus takes over from Anoûl Hendriks, who will get a new place in the programming.
“I love to get back to work at SLAM!”, Says Lippens. “It is my first love in radio land and I have the feeling that there is still an amazing chapter to write. Erik-Jan is one of my radio heroes and to make the evening unsafe with him is really a boy’s dream come true.”
Rosendahl complements his colleague by saying that something must be done in their broadcast. “Incomprehensible jingles, messages with a double load and useless (but funny) games. Just a little more than usual we will touch the bizarre, the unnameable or the taboo in our show. That will make us really do something different from mainstream radio. . “
Lippens was discredited at the end of 2019 when he made a livestream behind the wheel. Viewers saw live how he hit a cyclist. The DJ, who was suspended for a week by 538, pulled it sackcloth and made a podcast about road safety.
