The call takers of the services 101 in Antwerp and Brussels ask to stop calling for unnecessary corona-related calls. They tax a service that has been struggling with understaffing for years. “Waiting times of up to five minutes are no exception,” says ACV unionist John Pollet. “That is life-threatening for those who do have an urgent call.”
