Dangdut Concert Case Suspect Receives Legal Aid from the Party

Previously reported, Deputy Chairman of the City Council of Tegal Wasmad Edi Susilo (WES) was finally named a suspect by the police.

WES was deemed to have violated the law because it held a celebration party with entertainment and entertainment in the middle of the pandemic and did not heed the warnings given by the police.

For his actions, the suspect was charged under Article 93 of Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine with a maximum imprisonment of one year and / or a maximum fine of Rp. 100 million.

Apart from being charged with the Health Quarantine Law, the suspect is also said to have violated the law in accordance with the Criminal Code (KUHP) Article 216 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 65 Paragraph 1.

“The suspect carried out a celebration of marriage and circumcision and there was entertainment attended by thousands of people without paying attention to health protocols and ignoring warnings given by authorized officers,” he concluded.
