The group “Rīgas Modes” has released a new song “Dejot Vienatnē”, which is already the third single from the band’s upcoming album and whose video premiered on the air of the program “900 seconds”.
As Kalvis Bormanis, a member of the group, said in the conversation, the new song, which was written earlier, in a way describes this summer well. The work on the song has been quite long, as a result of which it has made as many as 30 versions of the mix, and the participant of “Rīgas Modes” compares it with putting a puzzle, when each piece has to find its right place. The vocalists also take part in the song, because the band wanted to supplement the sound with elements of gospel music.
As a result of the emergency, the musicians did not have many concerts in the summer. A member of “Rīgas Modes” calls it “happiness in misfortune”, because there is more time to work on the upcoming album. The band hopes to release the new record this year, but will follow developments as they want to be able to give concerts at the time of release.
