Singer Richenel, best known for the song Dance Around The World, died in the night from Thursday to Friday. That reports it Parool.
The Amsterdammer was diagnosed with lung cancer for two years.
Richenel, aka Hubertus Richenel Baars, achieved international success in the 1980s in countries such as Italy, Germany and Scandinavia.
Dance Around The World was produced by Fluitsma and Van Tijn.
