Former rugby star rowing from New York to Ireland
5550 kilometers with pure muscle strength.
Irishman Damian Browne (42) is the first person to travel the New York to Galway route on the west coast of Ireland. The former rugby professional took 2686 hours or the equivalent of 112 days.
He allowed his followers to participate in the unusual journey via Instagram. He took photos of physical injuries but also of dolphins accompanying him on his journey. Browne’s conclusion: “I fought Mother Nature at every step”.
