Two people were arrested by the police for trying to attack the Koramil and Polsek offices Inhibition, Garut by bringing sharp weapon. The incident occurred on Friday (28/5) afternoon.
“The perpetrator has been detained at the police station, which has been secured by two people,” said Head of the Garut Police Public Relations Sub-Division Ipda Muslih Hidayat, Saturday (29/5) quoted from Antara.
Two people who were arrested were Dadang Buaya (49) as the perpetrators of the attack, and his subordinate Henriawan (32) a resident of Garut. The authorities have also confiscated evidence of sharp weapons brought by the perpetrators during the attack on the Pameungpeuk Koramil headquarters.
“Dadang Buaya with an entourage of approximately 15 people came to the Pameungpeuk Koramil looking for brother Saprudin (a member of the TNI), but was driven away by Koramil members and managed to secure several blades (sharp weapons) in the form of machetes, samurai, and egrek from Dadang’s brother’s car,” he said. .
Muslih said that the incident began when Dadang Buaya riding a motorcycle nearly collided with a fisherman who had just returned from fishing at Sayang Heulang Beach, Garut, Friday (28/5) morning. The fisherman then reprimanded him, but Dadang did not accept it and an argument ensued, even threatening to use sharp weapons.
The fisherman then asked for help from his brother, a TNI member from Bogor who was returning from leave in Pameungpeuk, Garut, and then tried to resolve the dispute between the two people.
However, the settlement effort failed, resulting in a fight between members of the TNI and Dadang Buaya. Even the police officers who tried to break him up were attacked by Dadang by hitting and slamming him.
“The commotion has been calmed down by members of the Pameungpeuk Police,” said Muslih.
Not long after that incident, Dadang and his friends went to the Pameungpeuk Koramil Headquarters to look for TNI members who had fought with him, but their arrival was prevented by members of the Pameungpeuk Koramil.
Next, Dadang and his friends went to the Pameungpeuk Police Headquarters to look for police officers who had previously been involved in a fight, Dadang even attacked other police officers, until they were finally disbanded.
“Dadang attacked members of the Pameungpeuk Police, Bripka Uun’s brother, but managed to break up and Dadang’s group of brothers were sent home,” he said.
The local police together with members of the TNI coordinated until they finally arrested Dadang at his home and then brought him to the Garut Police Headquarters.
“After the incident, Pameungpeuk’s situation is conducive,” he said.
