“Dacia’s New Flagship Crossover-Coupe to Replace Renault Arkana with Hybrid and LPG Variants”

Renault Arkana will be replaced by an inexpensive coupe-crossover Dacia. The crossover will have hybrid versions and a variant with factory LPG.

Dacia is preparing a new flagship model. Its presentation should take place in 2026 and it will open the D-class for the Romanian Renault Group brand. About it became known to journalists of the Spanish site Motor.es.

The new Dacia crossover will be significantly larger than the Duster and its older brother Bigster. The length of the car will be about 4.6 m, and it will be built on the CMF platform.

The model will be offered in petrol, hybrid and gas versions.

Judging by the renderings, the new Dacia will feature a dashing design with a sloping arched roof, high window line and hidden rear door handles.

The model will become an affordable coupe-crossover – an inexpensive alternative to the Audi Q3 Sportback. In fact, it will replace the Renault Arkana, which will soon be discontinued.

The Dacia crossover is positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Citroen C5 X. This means that it will have a small ground clearance, and the handling will be made more “passenger”.

It is expected that the new Dacia will receive petrol turbo engines with 48-volt “mild” hybrid installations. There will also be a half-life E-Tech hybrid and a factory LPG variant.

Previously Focus reported that Renault is preparing another coupe-crossover Rafale – it will become a more affordable competitor to the BMW X4.

We also wrote that Renault is preparing a retro-style electric SUV for less than 30,000 euros.
