iPhone 16 Rumors: New Button, Better Performance, and Camera Rearrangement – Latest Updates from Apple Event Calendar

We shouldn’t have official Apple presentations until the Apple Event, an annual event held in September, for which the apple company usually saves its main new product announcements. But, so you don’t get hung up until then, here’s what the top rumors say about the new iPhone lineup.

iPhone 16: new button, better performance and camera rearrangement

The iPhones in the Pro line should be increased (see below), but the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, more basic models, should remain almost the same as their versions in the 15 lineat least at first glance, according to the website MacRumors, which usually has good internal sources at Apple.

At the back there should be a change: Unlike the diagonal camera configuration of the 15, Apple is considering bringing the cameras of the iPhone 16 vertically, one below the other.

Chips need to change for the better. The iPhone 15 used the A16 chipset from the iPhone 14, but rumors suggest that Apple will use a 3 nanometer chipset for the iPhone 16. This is not exactly new, as this technology was already present in the iPhone Pro line 15, but the 16 version should be more up-to-date – and therefore faster. Just to put it in context, a chipset like this, with smaller proportions, leads to faster performance and lower battery consumption.

Another interesting new feature is that the action button, previously limited to Pro and Pro Max models, should arrive on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. This button can be customized to perform an action you define, such as opening the camera, turning on the flashlight, or starting an audio recording.
