Belgian national team failed to win when they travel to headquarters Czech Republic in fight World Cup qualification 2022. Romelu Lukaku et al were held to a 1-1 draw.

Group E’s second match European Zone 2022 World Cup Qualification Czech vs Belgium brings together. The match took place at Eden Arena, Sunday (28/3/2021) early morning WIB.

Belgium appeared to attack from the start of the match. Romelu Lukaku got the first chance in the seventh minute, but the ball still missed the target.

Dries Mertens almost broke into the Czech Republic’s goal two minutes later. His right foot shot from outside the penalty box was pushed over by goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik and resulted in a corner.

The Czechs threatened to reply in the 23rd minute. The ball from Antonin Barak was still able to be dammed by Thibaut Courtois.

Belgium made a golden opportunity in the 31st minute. Lukaku sent a cross which Kevin De Bruyne headed in the penalty box. The ball can be saved by Vaclik.

There are no goals created until entering the break. A goalless draw position closed the first half.

Entering the second half, the Czechs took the initiative to attack. As a result, the goal was created in the 50th minute.

GOAL! Lukas Provod got his name on the scoreboard. The Czech midfielder fired a shot from outside the penalty box which slid into the lower right corner of the Belgian goal. The hosts lead 1-0.

Belgium is trying to get back behind. Goals awaited The Red Devils created 10 minutes later.

GOAL! Lukaku managed to break into Rep. Czech. The Inter Milan striker received De Bruyne’s pass in the penalty box, before kicking it into a goal.

Belgium almost turned things around in the 70th minute. De Bruyne’s attempted ball in the penalty box hit the Czech post.

The home team turns to threaten in the 84th minute. Jan Boril’s right footed shot in the penalty box also hit the crossbar.

Both teams failed to score additional goals in the remaining time. The match ended with a score equally strong 1-1.

With this result, the two teams have not changed their position in the Group E standings European Zone 2022 World Cup Qualification. Czech Republic is in first place with four points, while Belgium is one level below on the same points.
