Czech boxes ensure the visibility of drones. Dronetag has now received an investment from Y Soft

Author: Dronetag

Czech startup Dronetag received an investment of 15 million crowns from the Brno fund Y Soft Ventures falling under the company Y Soft. Thanks to this, Dronetag not only acquires capital, but also production capacity in Brno, which Y Soft offers to invested startups.

Dronetag develops IoT devices that are installed on drones. These devices mediate communication with other air traffic participants. This manages to prevent accidents. Dronetag contributes to the coordination of flights in twenty countries on four continents. More about that in our interview.

“The company has sold over 200 of these boxes in five months. Their team already has orders for their new solution (so-called OEM), which manufacturers build directly into their drones,” says Dronetag.

“Dronetag’s ambition is to turn drones into full-fledged air traffic participants and finally to make full use of their potential. The future of drones is the transport of important consignments or industrial inspection or personal transport of people. All this while respecting uniform regulations around the world – already in force in the EU and the US and planned in other markets, ”says Lukáš Brchl, Executive Director of Dronetag.

Y Soft does not comment on the amount of the acquired share. They still control the drone Lukáš Brchl (65 procent) a Marián Hlaváč (35 percent).
