The cyclist who was seriously injured at the end of March after a collision with a taxi on the Ceintuurbaan in Zuid, died of his injuries. The investigation into the collision is still ongoing, so the police cannot say anything further about the accident.
On March 19, the cyclist collided with the taxi on the Ceintuurbaan, near the Tweede Sweelinckstraat. Due to the incident, an air ambulance was called in and landed in the nearby Sarphati Park.
The cyclist was rushed to hospital and later died of his injuries. The police cannot yet say anything about the exact reason why the collision occurred because the investigation is still ongoing.
