On Wednesday, customs discovered a total of 421 kilos of cocaine in the port of Rotterdam with a street value of approximately 31 million euros. reports the Public Prosecution Service. The drugs were hidden in two containers filled with bananas and medical aids.

A container loaded with medical devices contained 395 packages of cocaine. The container came from the Dominican Republic. The cargo of medical devices was destined for a company in Hoogvliet.

The second container, which was loaded with banana puree, contained 26 packets of cocaine. That cargo also came from the Dominican Republic and was on its way to a company in Switzerland.
