Race Across the World Suomen the competitors will continue their journey in southern Europe, heading for Pinhão in the northern part of Portugal.

Niko Saarinen and Weird-mother start their travel day on the Spanish side of Badajoz. Buying a bus ticket to Lisbon is no brainer, as it can only be done online. The use of technological devices is prohibited in the rules of the competition.

Adversities make Niko frustrated when the trip doesn’t go well and the language barrier makes the situation even more difficult.

– I can’t stand this kind of shit. I have no language skills, I have no friends in this country that I can call. I can’t ask someone to order a train ticket somewhere to fucking Lisbon for me. I can’t handle such things, in other words, we can’t get out of this town now. It was from our side here, Niko expresses his feelings to the camera.

In the waiting room, Niko opens his heart to his mother and breaks down in tears.

– You know, when you want to succeed, but you always feel like you fail in everything you do. We are such idiots. What was wrong with us, that we started this route, Niko says.

Outi tries to calm his son down by stroking and stating that they couldn’t have known the choice of route would be difficult.

Also a married couple Jutta and Juha Larmin the peaceful coexistence is shattered. Juha gets frustrated when Jutta starts telling fellow contestants about the couple’s travel plans, and pulls his wife aside.

– Silly mouth, come here like this. Do you remember when we agreed not to pass these on? What did you just do? Juha tiva.

– I remember I remember. It comes naturally from me. I don’t want to be rude, Jutta explains.

The couple resolves the situation by sitting on the bus far away from the other team.
