The Vienna Research Forum Logistik / Industrie publishes its figures for the first half of 2021
Vienna (OTS) – The Take-up of space on the logistics and industrial market in Vienna and the surrounding area was im H1 2021 round 46.900 m². The total take-up of space including the space not taken into account by the VRF was 49,240 m².
Logistics areas are only taken into account by the VRF as long as they certain quality criteria such as hall height, maneuvering area and distance from the motorway. 49% of the classified buildings correspond to class A, 35% to class B and 16% to class C. Both Production and industrial areas all objects were included, the certain Minimum criteria such as meet the size of the hall.
The largest take-up of space found with 12,300 m² in the submarket Wien Umland Ost instead of and corresponds to around 26% of take-up in H1 2021. 86% of take-up account for Logistics areas and 14% on production and industrial areas.
The Total stock of logistics, production and industrial areas in Vienna and the surrounding area was as of H1 2021 5.541.532 m².
