Culmia will start the construction of the first houses of Plan Vive in June

​​​​​A few months ago, Ávita, an industrialized construction company of the Avintia Group, inaugurated a housing industrialization factory located in Aranda de Duero (Burgos). In these facilities will be built the first 783 houses that the promoter has projected in the Live Plan Madrid and production will start in June, according to what idealista/news has learned. With these deadlines, the first units could be delivered at the end of 2023, according to company sources.

Specifically, the company headed by Francisco Pérez will build 1,763 houses spread over 12 plots located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Tres Cantos, Alcorcón, Alcalá de Henares and Getafe. Notably the factory project has a joint investment of 6 million euros by both companies and stands as a technology center for industrial production, the first factory of its kind in Spain, with a production capacity of 90,000 m2 of panels, which is equivalent to around 1,000 homes per year in one shift.

Thus, Wallex, a company founded by Grupo Avintia and Cemex, will contribute its industrialized construction system, made up of structural and façade elements, for these homes, which it will produce in its factory in Aranda de Duero, integrated into an ecosystem of innovation, where design And Engineering, BIM methodologyplanning, automated manufacturing, management control, transport and installation on site.

This process will allow reduce up to 30% delivery times and addressing sustainability in construction, thanks to the reduction of waste by up to 60%, the use of more sustainable materials and systems and the obtaining of a more energy efficient end product.

The Plan Vive is the great commitment of the Community of Madrid to put on the market a total of 25,000 properties for rent at affordable prices in a period of eight years, with the aim of facilitate access to housing for preferential groups, such as young people under 35 years of age, over 65, disabled or women victims of gender violence. The planned investment for the development of the initiative is 700 million euros.
