The police discovered a large crystal meth laboratory yesterday in Montfoort, Utrecht. The lab was hidden under a layer of dyke reinforcement clay. There were six interconnected sea containers where the highly addictive drug was produced.
According to the police, the location and the entrance were so well protected that there was nothing to be seen on aerial photos and from the public road.
Three men, including the owner of the site, have been arrested. Two vehicles have also been seized.
