The Cruz Azul Machine announced on Monday the renewal of the contract with goalkeeper Jesús Corona, who will remain at the institution for two more seasons, thus formalizing the rumors that circulated for several weeks.
Corona will remain until 2023 with the Aztec team due to its excellent participation during last season, in which it was essential to obtain the Cruz Azul title, which ended a 24-year drought.
The information was released on the team’s social networks, in a decision that was made by the board in recent weeks, due to the fact that the goalkeeper was ending his contract to continue wearing the club’s colors.
