New game released today Dontnod — Twin Mirror… Developers Life is Strange this time they promised almost a detective thriller with a branched plot and an ambiguous protagonist, whose past is shrouded in mystery.
However, the release turned out to be a Frankenstein monster, where events, locations and characters are weakly connected with each other, and some heroes are gradually forgotten.
The plot is replete with “holes”, and events do not always follow from each other.
Most of all, the story game is scolded … the plot. Unfortunately, this is a verdict for this kind of project.

Perhaps the constant transfers of adventure were associated with this. Some dialogues mention events that took place, but in fact they were not in the game – they were apparently inaccurately cut out, forgetting to get rid of the references in further episodes.
The apparent lack of budget also played a role in the sad fate of Twin Mirror. Some of the dialogues like the protagonist’s comments are not voiced, and the animations are rather harsh.

However, the game also has positive aspects – first of all, the palaces of the protagonist’s mind. There, players will have to collect evidence and build a chain of events at the crime scene. The episodes are reminiscent of the studio’s debut game – Remember Me… True, they turned out to be linear, and there are few of them.
