Pukkelpop organizer Chokri Mahassine is receiving fierce criticism from the sector. “The biggest victim of this debacle is not Pukkelpop itself,” writes Eric Smout, programmer of the Open Air Theater Rivierenhof in Deurne, in a Facebook post to Chokri. “But our entire music industry and especially the artists. And last but not least: the public.” His post is shared by many colleagues from the sector, including a number of musicians.
