Manchester – These statements have it all! The Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (37) sharply criticized his current employer, Manchester United, at the start of the World Cup break and didn’t mince his words.

In a 90-minute conversation with British journalist Piers Morgan (57), which will air Wednesday and Thursday on the TV show ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’, the 37-year-old world-class striker made an all-out attack and made the fuel ordered. The tabloid The sun has now published the first excerpts of the interview.

According to this, Ronaldo became a “black sheep” at United, the club tried to disgust him. “Yes, I feel betrayed, and I feel some people don’t want me here, even last year,” said “CR7”.

In particular, former coach Ralf Rangnick (64) and current coach of the “Red Devils” Erik ten Hag (52) have trimmed the fat.

“How can you be a Manchester United manager if you’re not even a manager? I’ve never heard of him,” said the star forward of today’s Austria manager, who previously worked for RB Leipzig, FC Schalke 04 and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has “no respect” for his current manager, ten Hag, but that is mutual. “If you don’t respect me, I will never respect you,” said the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

The Dutch coach took over the English record champions in the summer, after which the two-time world footballer lost his starting position and gradually ended up on the sidelines.

Ronaldo has described the past few months as the “most difficult time” of his life, both professionally and privately. In April, he and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez (28) lost their son in the birth of their expected twins. Only the girl survived.

When her daughter also had to be hospitalized three months later, “CR7” missed much of the preparation. During this time, the club showed him little empathy. Furthermore, Ten Hag publicly accused him of lack of fitness shortly thereafter.

However, the returnee, who played for Man United between 2003 and 2009 and became a global star there, wishes the troubled Premier League giant “only the best”.

“That’s why I came to Manchester United. Ever since Sir Alex (Ferguson, Anm. d. Red.) on the left, I haven’t seen any development in the club. Nothing has changed” Ronaldo said.

Overall, there are too many factors preventing United from “reaching the top tier like City, Liverpool and now Arsenal too”.

Not only the legend of the Ferguson club knows this, but everyone. “People who don’t see it – it’s because they don’t want to see it. They are blind,” the striker said 191 times.

MUFC supporters actually deserved better. “The fans are everything to me,” said Ronaldo. “That’s why I’m giving this interview, because I think it’s the right time to express my opinion.”

Given the five-times Champions League winner’s explosive responses, his future with the ‘Red Devils’ risks being on shaky ground. Transfer market rumors have been circulating for some time, but for now the ball virtuoso would like to focus on the World Cup in Qatar and “win the tournament for Portugal”.

He then returned to Manchester to “make things right with United”.
