Cristiano Ronaldo Gets Frustrated During Al-Nassr’s Draw Against Al-Feiha in Saudi Championship

Cristiano Ronaldo argued with his opponents before coming out of the tunnel after the 0-0 draw between Al-Nassr and Al-Feiha.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s life in Saudi Arabia is not always easy. Portuguese had a difficult evening this Sunday. Traveling to Al Feiha for the 23rd day of the Saudi championship, the former Real Madrid striker could not help Al-Nassr to a third consecutive victory in the league, since the players of Rudi Garcia could not do better only a goalless draw (0-0).

A draw that does not pass

A draw that could cost Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates dearly in the title race. And inevitably, the Portuguese was not at all happy with the result of his team. Worse, he appeared very frustrated at the final whistle and this did not escape the cameras present around the pitch.

At the moment of the final whistle, the Portuguese came straight out of the tunnel, while his teammates remained on the pitch to shake hands. Al-Nassr coach Rudi Garcia entered the pitch to talk to the referee after his team’s latest misstep.

During the encounter, Cristiano Ronaldo also appeared very annoyed, blaming these evening opponents for wanting to save time and not wanting to play. The 38-year-old striker addressed Ali Al-Zaqaan with great anger. “You don’t want to play”, he said, before heading to the locker room, annoyed. It’s not the first time the Portuguese has shown signs of frustration since arriving in Saudi Arabia.

Dirty evening for CR7

It was a frustrating evening for Ronaldo and his team. The visitors tried their luck 18 times during the evening, but failed to win against Al-Feiha. The 38-year-old striker had a difficult time, struggling to relate to his teammates and sending the ball over the crossbar on a strike from outside the box late in the game.

The result is a blow to Al-Nassr’s title hopes. They are now three points behind Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Ittihad after 23 rounds. Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates will try to keep their title hopes alive when they take on Al-Hilal in a much-anticipated clash between two title rivals on April 18.
