After the match, CR7 – who, incidentally, came out of the fight fairly badly damaged (see photo below) – walked towards the catacombs full of pent-up frustrations. When Everton fans provoked the Portuguese, the stoppages kicked in – Ronaldo slammed a filming home supporter’s cell phone to the ground.

Later in the evening, Ronaldo donned the garb via Instagram. “It is never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments, as we are going through one right now. Nevertheless, we must be respectful and patient and set an example for the youth who love football. I would like to apologize for my outburst and invite the supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford. As a sign of fair play and sportsmanship.”

Earlier, Cristiano Ronaldo had shown himself magnanimous. His son, Cristiano Ronaldo Junior (11), has been in the eye of the storm on social media in recent days.
