Cristiano Ronaldo apologizes after smashing mobile phone from Everton fan: ‘Want to invite person to Old Trafford’ | Sport

No, the season of the big return hasn’t brought too much fun to Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United. Eliminated early in the cups and the Champions League, miles behind Manchester City and Liverpool and also the top 4 and the corresponding Champions League ticket seems far away. This afternoon Ronaldo and co went down 1-0 on the Everton field, yet another setback.

After the match, CR7 – who, incidentally, came out of the fight fairly badly damaged (see photo below) – walked towards the catacombs full of pent-up frustrations. When Everton fans provoked the Portuguese, the stoppages kicked in – Ronaldo slammed a filming home supporter’s cell phone to the ground.

Later in the evening, Ronaldo donned the garb via Instagram. “It is never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments, as we are going through one right now. Nevertheless, we must be respectful and patient and set an example for the youth who love football. I would like to apologize for my outburst and invite the supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford. As a sign of fair play and sportsmanship.”

Earlier, Cristiano Ronaldo had shown himself magnanimous. His son, Cristiano Ronaldo Junior (11), has been in the eye of the storm on social media in recent days. First, the grandmother, Dolores Aveiro is her name, posted a photo on Instagram of Cristiano Junior wearing “Yeezy Foam Runner” sneakers, a branded product in collaboration with American rapper Kanye West. A day later, she posted a new photo on the social media platform. Now the 11-year-old boy was seen wearing Nike jersey and socks from Adidas. A combination of brands that did not go down well with everyone.

Cristiano Ronaldo reacted firmly to the comments: “He wears what he wants, not what others want.” The comment has now reached almost 20,000 likes.
