Rüsselsheim / Darmstadt (dpa / lhe) – The police have closed an illegal gambling hall in Rüsselheim (Groß-Gerau district). Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the operator. Seven slot machines were confiscated, as the police in Darmstadt announced on Thursday. The software of the devices was allegedly manipulated so that they distributed less profit. The search on Wednesday was part of a citywide inspection. A total of 26 people were checked. Among other things, drugs and weapons were found.
